So what did we do?
To be taken seriously it was important that our client had a brand that would exceed the expectations of huge public companies such as Ladbrokes and PartyGaming. WassOnline™ needed their website to portray the image that they are serious about being a player in the highly competitive gaming industry.
The WassOnline™ logo is clearly a huge step ahead of current leading brands. The logo and site branding have been pivotal in securing advertising deals with Virgin Media, Pacific Poker, Word Poker Tour and 888.com
WassOnline™ originally had a sign up process which was long, daunting and unappealing. From our analytical testing we knew how to remove every hurdle which could prevent the customer doing what we wanted them to do. We needed them to glance at the website and see that it is easy to register and complete the form - We simplified the sign up page to just 4 fields, which could be completed within just 30 seconds.
As well as the physical hurdles we realised there were emotional ones too. We had to make sure the customer felt like their data was protected; we achieved this with a comprehensive terms and conditions. We also included an option on whether they wanted to receive notifications from administrators.
The form design helped increase poker forum signups by 450% in the first month of launch and this increase has since been sustained.
