Skin cancer charity website launches! - 20:08:2008
Hello Everyone,
Soula is pleased to announce the launch of Skcin.
Skcin is the only UK charity which is dedicated to supporting skin cancer. The site was designed to show the effects of skin cancer, but more importantly educate users about skin cancer, what the symptoms are, how to treat skin cancer and how to prevent you from getting skin cancer.
We’re really excited to be supporting this incredible charity, and look forward to working with them for months to come.
Google's Lively and Jimoli Site Launch - 11:07:2008
Soula is pleased to announce the launch of Jimoli. Jimoli is a great place to find the latest in fashion handbags. The site is designed with a clean stylish and inviting look to enhance and showcase the Jimoli handbag collection.
On the internet this week saw the launch of Google's Lively which is a new social network similar to Second Life. Google would like to see Lively everywhere soon with the hope that it will encourage more virtual socialising on the internet. Lively is a 3D software that enables people to meet virtually by creating alter egos. Users will be able to create male or female versions also know as avatars to live in the virtual world creating an identity and showing emotions.
This move adds another avenue for Google which more widely known for its search engine. Google are constantly evolving and moving the company forward - what will they do next?
From all in the team at Soula - have a great weekend!
Google are now indexing Flash and Happy Birthday Soula - 04:07:2008
Soula will be celebrating its first birthday this month in style. A successful year has passed since the launch of Soula back in July 2007 and we are looking forward to the future and wanting to build on this success.
Google this week has announced that it will now be indexing Flash being the first major search engine with this capability. The indexing includes textual content in Flash "gadgets" including buttons, menus and self contained flash websites and urls.
This is an exciting development and here at Soula we are pleased that Google are continuing to push the boundaries with search engine capabilities.
From everyone here at Soula we hope you have a nice weekend.
