So what are iGoogle Widgets?

Well, iGoogle widgets are simple HTML and JaveScript applications that can be embedded in web pages and other applications – specifically Google.

iGoogle widgets make it easy for people to discover and subscribe to your content. If you own a frequently updated website, such as a blog or news publication, or just want to promote your site content, the 'Add to Google' button is a quick and easy way to keep readers up-to-date by making it easy to add your content right to their Google homepage or Google Reader.

iGoogle widgets enable your product, brand or service to be viewed by millions of users each week plus they can generate significant traffic to your website. When users add your gadget to their iGoogle homepage for instance, they'll see your content each time they visit Google.

The 'Add to Google' button supports several content formats - rich XML gadgets, RSS and Atom feeds. To add the 'Add to Google' button, simply tell us your URL for your feed or gadget, click "Generate HTML" and copy and paste the resulting text into your website.
